We act for both Applicants and Planning Authority to the benefit of both.


We balance our commissions acting as both the Originator of Viability Assessment for the Applicant and the 'Review Consultant' for the Planning Authority within a Council.


This enables us 'avoiding conflict of interest' to approach the delivery of the service that enables perspective from both sides that avoids dispute and realises settlement within the Planning Determination Period.

Costs and Values


Both Development Costs and Values are provided within the Practice.


Our competitors often 'outsource' the 'Build Cost' element of the appraisal either externally or alternatively utilise general cost benchmarks provided by BCIS (Building Cost Information Service).


Our Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers avoid general benchmarking and undertake estimates and reviews based on current and live' cost data prevalent at the time of assessment.


Delays and dispute often arise from the referral of these matters by Viability Consultants to external Cost Consultants and utilising generalised Benchmarking Data; we avoid this through our proactive, current and bespoke approach.
